A very enjoyable week. The weather was fantastic and we had some great walks and enjoyed the sea views from the window! What a lovely island. We were swimming in Eoropie and enjoyed the high waves. We hope to come back.

Thank you for an enjoyable stay in superb accommodation. We saw two golden eagles on our first day.
We had a great time exploring the fantastic beaches. We can thoroughly recommend the Borve Hotel for both food and service.

Visiting Lewis again was like catching up with an old friend. Childhood memories came flooding back on Ness Beach, Lighthouse, Uig, Callanish Stones, Tolsta Beach, Arnol Blackhouse and many more. The addition of a hotel in Borve is lovely - be prepared for huge Western Isles portions!!

A delighful welcome in the form of champagne, excellent smoked salmon and amazing eggs! A really well equipped and atmospheric place to stay in this unique part of the world. Standing on the Butt of Lewis in a storm is really exciting.

Thank you for a lovely holiday in a lovely house and setting. Sulaire, Digby Chick and Rodel Hotel excellent food - do try the haggis at Rodel. Morven Gallery worth a visit with great gifts and great coffee. Anthony Barbour the artist and owner of the local Harbour View Galley in Ness is a lovely chap - another friendly place to visit. We bought one of his paintings. Love the Isle of Lewis and we will return.

It took us a few years but we made it back to Gladstone House with a new addition to the family. What can we say, wonderful, relaxing, superb, we love the whole experience and the house is great and full of extras, which make this such a special place. Eoropie playpark is the best playpark in world. Hope to be back
again soon.

Beautiful place to stay, fantastic views and amazing hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them - made it a real find. Eoropie beach, park and tearoom we would all recommend and the harbour and beach at Port of Ness, visited on a daily basis. Morven Gallery was fantastic as was the Historical Society Museum in Ness worth a visit. Fantastic meal at Sulaire restaurant on our last night. Best on the island.

Have had a great first visit to Lewis and Harris. Wonderful walks and beaches, big skies and loads of birds to be spotted. Worth paying a visit to the lighthouse at sunset, the rocks are amazing and colours charismatic.
Tearoom at Eoropie beach is excellent for lunch and the carrot cake is fab! We'll miss the view and chic comfort of Gladstone House - a great base and perfect place.

We had a great time around Lewis. The couches are so comfy and the views fantastic. We went to the Harris Tweed place and they showed us how it was made. The Hebridean soap company showed us how its made as well. Thanks a lot.

A great escape from the snow and ice of the east to the mild mist of the west. Visited many historic sites from here and we did the circular Butt of Lewis walk. A perfect recharge of the batteries in brilliant accommodation. Allowing the eyes to stray to the wonderful sea view helped a little to distract from the Scottish 6-nations rugby defeat on TV.
